About The Nissan Serena C23 1993 - 2001

Serena C23 1993 - 2001

Nissan Serena C23 were originally manufactured in Japan in 1991, and also imported into Australia and Europe. Nissan produced several trim levels i.e. FX, SX etc. The 2.3 L diesel was never intended for the Japanese market and interior fittings are not the same as the models manufactured in Japan for the local market.

During its production the C23 model endured several upgrades while the interior and exterior remained untouched, for instance, adding of airbags and bench seats for the second and third rows. Individually upgraded model can be recognised by its front grille design which was facelifted between 1994 and 1997. In the European markets, Serena C23 was available in 1.6, 2.0 L petrol and 2.3 L diesel engine. The only trim level available for the European market was the LX, SLX, SGX and SGXi.
